Kathleen Fitzpatrick

CHESHIRE - Kathleen Fitzpatrick, 80, passed away Friday April 19, 2013 at the Highlands Healthcare Center. She was the wife of Edward S. Fitzpatrick.

Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born September 26, 1932 in Aclare, County Sligo Ireland, the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Calvey) Cunney. She was a longtime resident of Queens, New York,having emigrated from Ireland in 1949. She had been a Cheshire resident since 2000 where she was a communicant of St. Bridget Church.

Besides her husband of 56 years, Mrs. Fitzpatrick is survived by her son Dr. Edward P Fitzpatrick and his wife Maureen of Cheshire; her brothers Patrick of Wigan England and James of Mineola, NY; her sisters Theresa McGovern of Westchester, NY, Bridget Clark of Collooney, Ireland, Rose Byrne of Lafayette CA, and Peggy Kilcoyne of Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo Ireland; as well as her grandchildren Brian, Alana, Deirdre, Kevin, Maura and Eamon.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2013, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St., to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be held in Ireland. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
