NAUGATUCK- Kathleen Ann Bird, 68, passed away, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck.
She was born August 23, 1950 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Stenner) Bird.
Ms. Bird was a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Bozzuto’s in North Haven prior to illness. In her free time she enjoyed homemade crafts and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her siblings Sandra and her husband Stephen Ramponi of Oakville, James and his wife Gail Bird of Bethlehem, and Paul and his wife Cindy Bird of Thomaston; and her companion James Doyle of Naugatuck. She had many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Ralph Bird.
Arrangements- Calling hours for Kathleen will be held 2 to 4 P.M, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St, 06770. A private burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Thomaston. Donations in her name can be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
