Katherine A. 'Kathy' Laudati

CHESHIRE- Kathy Laudati, 73, passed away Friday September 9, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. She was the loving wife of Edmund “Butch” Laudati. She was predeceased by her daughter Dana Mary Laudati in 2014.

Mrs. Laudati was born October 13, 1942 daughter of the late John and Ingrid (Noren) Cronan.

Kathy loved spending time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays, where she loved Christmas Eve. She also enjoyed shopping, spending, dancing, shopping, singing, the Irish Pub at Holy Cross, trips to New York City, and above all cruises and vacations especially trips to Venice, Paris, Maui, the Greek Islands, Ireland, Florida, and Arizona. Kathy will always be known for her famous homemade fettuccini, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms.

Besides her husband Kathy is survived by her sister Pat and her husband Dick Dionne of Errol, NH; her two sister in laws Chris and her husband Mike Aubrie of Southbury, and Mary Ellen Kaczmarek of Wolcott; brother in law David and his wife Judy Laudati of Seymour; nieces Jennifer and her husband Joe Campos and their children Taylor and Michael, and Kathy, Lori, and JoAnn Dionne of Errol, NH; nephews Gregg Dionne of Errol, NH, Aaron and his wife Jill Laudati of Woodbury and their children Shea, Michael, and Sophie, Adam and his wife Jill Laudati of Wallingford, and their children Xavier and Xander, John and his wife Alex Cronan of Ansonia, and their children Nathan, Jacob, and Isabella, Joe and his wife Laura Cronan of Oakville, and their children Emily and Allie. Also her niece’s children from Errol, NH, Christopher, Patty-Jo, Jonathan, Sarah, and Daniel. Besides her daughter Dana she was predeceased by her brothers John and Thomas Cronan, and her first husband Joey Galasso.

A heartfelt thanks from Kathy’s family goes out to all the nurses and doctors at both Mid-State Medical Center, and Hartford Hospital, Dr. Schaner, and Dr. Swales for the care and compassion they showed before her passing.

Arrangements- Calling hours for Kathy will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5 to 8 P.M at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Mrs. Laudati’s funeral will be held 10 A.M, Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Church, 50 Charles St, Waterbury, CT 06708. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be private. Donations in her name may be made to the Dana Laudati Memorial Scholarship c/o St. Bridget School, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410.
