Julia M. Nugnes

WALLINGFORD – Julia M. Nugnes, 94, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Masonicare in Wallingford. She was the loving wife of the late V. James Nugnes.

Mrs. Nugnes was born April 16, 1927 in Derby, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Albano) Del Mastro. She was retired from Anderson Tire, where she worked as Bookkeeper and previously held a real estate license in Trumbull, CT where she resided until her move to Cheshire, CT.

Mrs. Nugnes is survived by her son, James J. Nugnes of New Hampshire, and her daughter, Maria A. Scotti and her partner Peter A. Wiesniak of Fl and CT respectively. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Lindsey M. Pease and her husband Matthew of Vernon, CT and James V. Scotti of Lawrence, Kansas. Mrs. Nugnes was also blessed with a great grandson, Oliver James Pease.

Arrangements: - A graveside service for Mrs. Nugnes will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull, CT. There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, is assisting with arrangements.
