Dawsonville, GA – Judith F. Kaprinski, 80, formerly of Cheshire, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in Gainsville, GA. She was the wife of the late Jerome “Jerry” Kaprinski.
Mrs. Kaprinski was born October 11, 1944, in Chelsea, MA, the daughter of the late William and Edith (Kendrick) Fienemann. She was a Teacher in Cheshire for over 36 years. As an educator, she served as an officer for the Education Association of Cheshire and was a member of the Connecticut Education Association. She was a member and officer of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international sorority for outstanding women educators. While living in Florida, she was an officer of the New Horizons Club of the Halifax Area.
During her years in Cheshire, she was a member of the First Congregational Church, where she was instrumental in starting the first Kindergarten Sunday School and was on the first Board of Christian Education.
Mrs. Kaprinski is survived by her sons Michael Kaprinski and his wife Lisa, and David and his wife Jillian; as well as her grandchildren Emily, William, Scarlett, Mackenzie, Leanne, and Erika. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia, and her brother-in-law Robert. Judy was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Michelle.
Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10 am at the First Congregational Church of Cheshire, 111 Church Sr. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, 8605 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 89002, West Hollywood, CA 90069
