Judith Rae Holycross

Judith Rae (Parkin) Holycross, age 88, of Norwalk, entered into rest on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Alfred Holycross Sr. for over 62 years until his passing in 2019. Judith was born on March 18, 1936 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Raymond B. and Emma E. (Jeralds) Parkin.

Judith was raised in Southington and Cheshire, and graduated from Cheshire High School.

She is the beloved mother of Holly Holycross; Joan Holycross-Otto and her husband, Karl of all of CT. She also leaves her loving siblings, Raymond B. Parkin Jr. and his wife, Linda of Maine; and Cyntha Potter of CT; and her many cherished nieces and nephews. Judith was predeceased by her son, Alfred “AJ” Holycross, Jr.

Funeral Services for Judith will be private and at the convenience of her family. Memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Cat Connection, 40 Stevens Mill Road, Windsor, CT 06095.
