CHESHIRE- Judith Ann O’Brien, 89, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Midstate Medical Center. She was the loving wife of John F. O’Brien to whom she was married for 62 years.
Judith was born June 11, 1931 in New Haven, daughter of the late Carl and Pauline (Spanagel) Murano.
Besides her husband John, she is survived by her children Deborah O’Brien and her partner David Lutkins of Sharon, MA; Patricia O’Brien of Fairfax, VA; Judith and her husband Charles Fadus of Midlothian, VA; John O’Brien and his wife Lek Ariyapitipun of Cheshire; and Beth O’Brien and her husband Mifrando Obach of Singapore; and her four grandchildren Ryan, Jack, Rowan, and Riley; and her sister Joan Swanson. She was predeceased by her brothers Richard, Carl Jr., and Robert Murano.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Judith will be held Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11 A.M. at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. A calling hour will be held privately at the funeral home. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith’s name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Alzheimer's Association.
