CHESHIRE - Joseph DeLauro, 88, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Barbara (Frost) DeLauro.
Mr. DeLauro was born September 14, 1924 in New York, NY the son of the late Frank and Ida (Canizio) DiLauro. He was a proud WWII Army Veteran serving his country in World War II. He was Author and Composer of America's DAV and was employed as a National Food Broker as well as a Comedian and Musician.
Besides his wife of 35 years, Mr. DeLauro is survived by his three sons Warren Gurske and Louis Gurske both of Thomaston, and Frank DeLauro of Cheshire; as well as his Grandson Vincent DeLauro.
Arrangements - Funeral services and burial at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
