Joseph Byczko

Joseph S. Byczko, 54, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Grove Manor Nursing Home in Waterbury. He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Ann (Draper) Byczko.

Joseph was born June 19, 1955 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Olender) Byczko.

Joseph was a Sergeant for the U.S Air Force at the George Air Force Base in California. Following the Air Force Joseph attended Norwalk State Technical College, and The Bridgeport Engineering Institute. He was employed at General DataComm as an Engineer prior to his retirement. He was a former member of The Christ Church in Watertown.

In his spare time Joseph was an avid fisherman, love riding his bicycle, running, and jogging.

Joseph is survived by two sons David and his wife Jessica Pettinato of Middlebury, and Daniel Pettinato of North Carolina, two brothers Ray Byczko of Torrington, and Ronald and his wife Deborah Byczko of Mountville, PA, he is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Arrangements- Funeral Services for Joseph are private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710 from 6 to 8 P.M. Full Military Honors will be accorded after calling hours.
