Jose Perez

CHESHIRE - Jose Perez, 89, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020, at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Bienvenida Perez.

Mr. Perez was born December 31, 1930, in Lares, Puerto Rico, a Son of the late Jose Perez and Maria Gonzalez de Perez. He was the owner of El Manantial, a retail business in New Jersey, before retiring to Connecticut.

Mr. Perez is survived by his two daughters Lydia Lesky, and her husband, John, of Cheshire, and Blanca Rodriguez, and her husband, Alberto, of Weston, Florida, his brothers, Domingo, Leonardo, Pascual, and his sisters, Felipa, Juana, and Carmela. He was predeceased by his brothers Juan de la Cruz, Eucebio, Nicolas, Pablo, Ricardo, and his sisters, Elena and Contancia¬.

Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 A.M, Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish - St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden. Calling hours will be held at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, from 9 a.m. until the funeral procession leaves for church.
