John Medling

CHESHIRE - John Medling, 62, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Bristol Hospital. He was the husband of Sharon (Vaccaro) Medling.

Mr. Medling was born February 8, 1951 in Waterbury the son of the late John J. Medling and the late Isabel 'Pat' (Thompson) Bujalski. He was a self-employed Insurance salesman owning and operating Medling Insurance Agency for over 40 years. He was actively involved as an Elder at Riverbank Christian Worship Center in Waterbury.

Besides his wife of 38 years, John is survived by his children Heather, Jonathan, Nicole and Ethan Medling all of Cheshire; his grandson Gabriel Page; Brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Nancy Vaccaro of North Haven, CT; Nieces and Nephews Taylor, Jordan, Dominique, Paul, Sierra and Jake; as well as his brother Tracy Medling. Besides his parents, John is predeceased by his sister Kathleen and his brother Egan.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2013, 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
