John Joseph Mutkoski

CHESHIRE - John Joseph Mutkoski, 76, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. He was the husband of Dorothy (Yutenkas) Mutkoski.

Mr. Mutkoski was born in 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Zygmunt and Adele Mutkoski. He served as President several times in his life: in grammar school, for four years in High School, for the Jaycees in Missouri, and for the Cheshire High School Band Parents Assoc. He was also a proud Eagle Scout.

He received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology. The majority of his career was at Uniroyal Engineered Products, where he was Worldwide Director of Engineering, responsible for engineering, performance and practice at ten domestic and foreign plants.

Besides his wife Dorothy, he is survived by his three sons Richard Mutkoski and his wife Melissa, John Mutkoski and his wife Kim, and Christopher Mutkoski and his wife Laney; his sister Barbara; his brother Stephen; his grandchildren Ryan, Brianna, Julia, Jacqueline, John Jr., Emily, Michael and Morgan. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Virginia.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016, 9:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St., to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
