John Green

NAUGATUCK- Mr. John H. Green, 47, of 49 Anderson St., Naugatuck, passed away Saturday morning May 22, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Roberta L. (Hanson) Green.

Mr. Green was born in New Haven, March 19, 1963, a son of the late Herbert and Shirley (Shaw) Green and had been a Naugatuck resident for the past 18 years, moving here from New Haven. He had work in the Printing industry as a Mechanical Repairman until his medical retirement in 2001. He had attended the Seventh Day Advent Church in New Haven .

Beside his wife of 19 years, he leaves his five children; Angelina Wedge of New Haven, Christine Galli, Jessica Green, John Green, Jr. and Brandon Green all of Naugatuck; 9 grandchildren and a brother, Alan Green of North Haven and a sister, Alexandra Simone of Hamden.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 27, 2010 at 1 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 355 Humphrey St., New Haven, 06511-3934 with Pastor Dennis Smith, officiating. A reception will follow the service. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting the family with the arrangements
