John Gorman

WATERBURY- John D. Gorman, 84, passed away Wednesday September 7, 2011 in the Vitas Unit of St. Mary's Hospital.

John was born March 24, 1927 in Waterbury son of the late John and Mary (O'Rourke) O'Gorman. He was employed at Waterbury Buckle prior to his retirement.

He is survived by a niece Victoria Lorusso of Watertown; four great nieces Laura Boyne of Watertown, Angela Borrelli of Cheshire, Stacey Lavorgna of Wolcott, and Jennifer Lavorgna of Waterbury; a great nephew Brian Lavorgna of Waterbury; a great great niece Kaylee Gregoire Boyne; five great great nephews Joseph and Thomas Boyne, Nicholas Borrelli, Carmine Lavorgna, and Donald Hickey. John was predeceased by a brother James O'Gorman, a sister Helen Lavorgna, and two nephews Thomas and James Lavorgna.

Arrangements- A graveside service for John will be held 10 A.M Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710 is in charge of the arrangements.
