John Christina

CHESHIRE - John L. Christina "Jack" entered a peaceful resting place on January 14th, 2013, surrounded by his wife of 55 years, Lucille (Pascarelli) Christina. He is survived by his wife and their much loved children, whom they were so very proud of- John Anthony Christina, Joseph Dominic Christina, [his wife, Maggie], and Jacklyn Marie (Christina) Dellacamera [her husband, 'Big Nick'] and his seven wonderfully beloved grandchildren- Caileen, Cory, Cole Christina of Simsbury; Jesse, Rebecca, Gabrielle Christina of Cooper City, Florida, and Nicolas Jacquot of North Branford.

Since his retirement from Pepsi-Cola ten years ago, Jack enjoyed a relaxed time at his home in Cheshire, enjoyed golf and spending extra time with his grandchildren. Jack found great joy in special visits from close friends and family where he shared great conversations which included laughing hysterically!

Jack was so proud of his family and their accomplishments and loved the times he watched his grandchildren at their sporting events. He especially loved having everyone over for big, Italian dinners, and the company of his pet of seventeen years, Theodore.

Arrangements - A private ceremony and burial was held at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St assisted with arrangements. A birthday remembrance Mass will be held at St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Rd. in Cheshire in the spring.
