John Bates

Cheshire - John Bates, 93, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was the husband of the late Nancy Bates.

A longtime Cheshire resident, Mr. Bates was active with the Cheshire Grange.  He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire and a Life Member of the Cheshire Fire Department.

He is survived by his Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren

Arrangements – The funeral for Mr. Bates will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church of Cheshire.  Friends are asked to meet directly at church and there are no calling hours.  Burial will follow at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
