Joan O'Keefe

CHESHIRE – Mrs. Joan O’Keefe, 77, passed away Wednesday November 11, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late James M. O’Keefe who passed away in 2006.

Mrs. O’Keefe was born April 21, 1938 in New Haven the daughter of the late Oliver B. and Dorothy M. (Thorpe) Clark. She was a longtime resident of Cheshire, having moved from Wallingford in 1966. She was a School Bus driver for many years prior to her employment at Blue Cross/Blue Shield where she worked as a Claims Specialist.

Mrs. O’Keefe is survived by her sons James and his wife Diane of Cheshire and Dennis and his wife Lisa of Southington; her brothers Wilford Clark of FL and Wales Clark of Naugatuck (formerly of Hamden); as well as her three grandchildren Dillion, Mitchel and Jade.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 14, 2015, 10 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery.
