Joan Dibner

HARRISBURG, PA - Joan (Trentalange) Dibner, 88, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at The Middletown Home, Harrisburg, PA. Born in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Vitale) Trentalange. A resident of Harrisburg, PA for over 50 years, she retired from the State of Pennsylvania after working as a clerk in the Dept. of Revenue.

She is survived by her niece and nephews, James Desmarais Sr. of Naugatuck; Diane Hoch (Larry) of Yardley, PA; her grandnieces and grandnephews, Diane Desmarais of Watertown, James Desmarais Jr. and Michael Desmarais Sr. (Nicole) of Naugatuck, Stephanie Tigh (John) of Newtown, PA; great grandniece and grandnephews Kaylee and Michael Desmarais Jr. and Samuel Tigh. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ann Angelicola and Carmen Martino; her brother Michael Trentalange; her niece Janet Desmarais; as well as her former husband Jack Dibner.

Arrangements - A graveside service will be held on Friday July 13, 2018 at 10 am at Calvary Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 2911 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, CT 06518.
