Broomfield CO - Jennifer Stone Grasso, 51, passed away suddenly on June 18, 2019, of a pulmonary embolism. She was the wife of Nicholas Grasso II.
Mrs. Grasso was born May 17, 1968, in Lowell, MA, the daughter of Robert and Catherine (Milton) Stone of Naples FL.
Jennifer grew up in Cheshire and graduated from Cheshire High School where she played in the marching band and was captain of the girls’ varsity basketball team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1990, and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in 1992. She worked in the medical field and musculoskeletal healthcare market and was currently Vice President, Strategy and Transformation at Smith & Nephew. Her family is forever grateful for the support of Smith & Nephew at this difficult time. Jennifer’s interests included skiing, group fitness, running 5K’s, sailing, rafting, camping, hiking and traveling and she loved to watch her boys play ice hockey.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jennifer is survived by her two sons Nicholas Jr. and Robert, her sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Mike Race, and two nephews and a niece of Johns Creek GA.
Arrangements: Funeral services for Mrs. Grasso will be celebrated Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish-St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family, and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
