Waterbury – Jennifer Lynn Smith, a loving wife, mother, soon to be grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 42 from medical complications. Jennifer chased her now husband, Frederick James Smith, around the block at a young age until they married on August 23rd, 1997. Together Jennifer and Frederick Smith share 3 children, Tyler James Smith and his fiancée Samantha Marie LaRose who are expecting Jennifer’s first grandbaby Sabrina Jennifer Lynn Smith, Skyler Lynn Smith and her fiancé Richard Ernest Aviles, and Katelynn Mae Smith. Jennifer was a stay-at-home mom for the majority of her life. She loved her husband, children, and her two cats Dio and Dixie very much.
Jennifer is survived by her parents Alice Mae Nyari and John Paul Nyari Sr., her sister Heather Ann Rivard and her husband Nathaniel Rivard, her brother John Paul Nyari Jr. and his wife Kimberly Louise Colucci-Nyari, as well as her only living grandmother Elsa Nyari. Jennifer was predeceased by her brother Albert Russell Nyari.
Jennifer also leaves behind many other family members including but not limited to her mother-in-law Roseanne Chiulli and her husband Roy Chiulli, her sister-in-law Tina Louise Cooper, her sister-in-law Lori Ann Price and her husband Christopher Robert Price, her brother-in-law Richard Kevin Mandolfo and his wife Linda Marie Geaney Mandolfo, and her sister-in-law Nicole Marie Zargo, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday January 14, 2022, from 5 to 7 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral home at 201 Meadow Street in Naugatuck, Connecticut.
