Cheshire- Jeffrey Paul Hamel, 71 passed away on December 30, 2016 after a long illness. He was born on August 17, 1945 in New Britain, Ct. The son of the late John George and Christine (Simchak) Hamel.
Jeffrey was the President and Owner of Forestville Machine Company. He is survived by his loving wife Dale E. Cuomo; two sons, Gary Hamel and Michael Cuomo; and his granddaughter Olivia.
Arrangements – A memorial service for Mr. Hamel will be held at 11.30 a.m. on January 6, 2016 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be a private ceremony at the discretion of the family. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, is assisting the family with the arrangements. The family asks that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Jeffrey's name.
