Jeanne-Rae Desroches

Cheshire – Jeanne-Rae Desroches, 85, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2016, at VITAS at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred Desroches.

Mrs. Desroches was born on October 5, 1930, in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Walter and Vera (Pennington) Crose. Jeanne-Rae’s most precious times were spent with her children and their families.

Mrs. Desroches is survived by her sons, Thomas Desroches, and his wife, Karen, and Reverend Richard Desroches, and his wife, Julie, and her daughters, Jeannine Santos, and her husband, Raymond, Amy Kacynski, and her husband, William, Leona Santopietro, and her husband, David, and Lisa Difederico, and her husband, John. She will also be missed by her daughter-in-law, Grace Desroches, and by her nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Desroches was predeceased by her son Wilfred J. Desroches, her brother, Walter Crose, Jr. and her sister Kathleen Crose.
