Jean Patterson

CHESHIRE- Jean Ayr Patterson, 86, passed away Thursday May 30, 2013 at The Summit in Plantsville.

She was born May 4, 1927 in Southington daughter of the late Thomas and Alice (Andersen) Ayr.

Jean was a graduate of East Haven High School. She was the Head Cashier at the Cheshire I.G.A for many years prior to her retirement. Jean was an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Cheshire.

She is survived by a son Tom and his wife Hope Patterson of Southington; a daughter Sandy and her husband Mike Poletti of Bethel; and her brother Richard and his wife Joan Ayr of North Branford; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Arrangements- A service for Jean will be held 2 P.M, Wednesday June 5, 2013 at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Burial will follow in St.Peter's Cemetery, 59 Main St, Cheshire, 06410. Calling hours will be held from 1 P.M until the time of the service.
