Janet M. Hale

CHESHIRE – Janet M. Hale, 59, passed away February 16, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. She was the longtime companion of Joseph Maruffi.

Janet was born February 27, 1957 in Southington, the daughter of the late Kenneth Ives and Mary (Allen) Hale. She was a Professional Driver for Tilcon CT Inc. recently retiring after 34 years. During her years with Ticlon she was a member of the Teamsters Local 559. She was a lifelong Cheshire resident where she was active with the Cheshire Grange #23 and enjoyed Duck Pin Bowling.

Beside her companion Joe of 23 years, Janet is survived by her brothers Stuart Hale and his wife Judy of Newbury, NH and Donald Hale and his wife Judy of Lehigh, FL; her sisters Nancy Hale of Lehigh, FL and Cindy Schieman and her husband Larry of Lyman, NH; six nieces and several grand nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Janet is predeceased by her sister Sally and her nephew Stuart Hale.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
