Jan Kuzan

NAUGATUCK- Mr. Jan "John" Kuzan, 85, of 109 Golden Hill St., Union City, passed away early Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Hospital. was the husband of the late Marie (Krzykowski) Kuzan who passed away in 1997.Mr. Kuzan was born in Kornalowicack, Poland, Sept. 10, 1924 a son of the late Michael and Sophie (Zuk) Kuzan and came to this country in 1952 from Poland. He was a veteran of the Polish army and a communicant of St. Hedwig Church.He leaves a daughter Donna Collette and her husband Gerard of Watertown and one granddaughter, Mary Collette also of Watertown; one brother, Frank Kuzan of Poland and was predeceased by 6 other brothers and sisters.His funeral will be held on Thursday Jan 28th at St. Hedwig Church, 32 Golden Hill St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Friends are asked to meet directly at church prior to mass. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements.
