James Gabani

NAUGATUCK - James Gabani, 63, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of Elaine (Sarasin) Gabani.

Jim was born November 13, 1951 in Waterbury, the son of the late Emo and Elizabeth (Caulfield) Gabani. He was a lifelong Naugatuck resident where he was employed by Risdon Manufacturing. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Jim was an avid fisherman and a Member of the Quassy Sportsman Club.

Besides his wife of 39 years, Jim is survived by his three daughters Lisa Gabani Jankowski and her husband Paul of Bristol, Erica Berry and her husband Redmond of GA, Christine Peck and her husband Brendan of Naugatuck; his sister Kathleen Demers and her husband Joseph of Naugatuck; his four grandchildren Hayley, Bobby, Redmond Jr. and Chloe; as well as many Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Donna Dietz.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 6, 2015, 10:30 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow Street to St. Francis of Assisi Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the funeral procession leaves for church.
