Ivette Colon

WATERBURY- Ivette “MA” Colon, 56, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 3, 2015 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Jose Colon.

Mrs. Colon was born April 9, 1959 in Elizabeth, NJ daughter of the late Reyes and Leonor (Vasquez) Sierra.

Ivette was a Social Worker in the State of New Jersey prior to her retirement.

Besides her husband she is survived by four sons Jose Colon Jr. of Waterbury, Daniel Colon Sr. and his late wife Iliana Colon of Torrington, Antonio Sr. and his wife Elaine Colon of Waterbury, and Joseph Sr. and his wife Jessica Colon of Waterbury; four daughters Meliza Colon and her husband Darryl Lovett of Waterbury, Analiza Colon and her husband David Jurado of Waterbury, Gizelle Colon of Waterbury, and Taisha Jurado of Waterbury; two brothers Wilfred Sr. and his wife Cinda Sierra of Elizabeth, NJ, and Eliezer Ruiz of Elizabeth, NJ; five sisters Milagros and her husband Arsenio Perez of Waterbury, Yolanda Figueroa of Elizabeth, NJ, Myrta Rodriguez of Elizabeth, NJ, Pamela Arroyo of New Jersey, and Joselin Sierra of Puerto Rico; many grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
