Irene Dorin

Irene Dorin, 90, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late Peter Dorin.

Mrs. Dorin was born May 30, 1922 in Wolcott, the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Gaborchek) Zastko. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church.

She is survived by her sons Robert Dorin and his wife Sharon of Long Island, NY, John Dorin and his wife Deborah of Cheshire, and Andrew Dorin and his wife Karen of Long Island, NY; her eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her daughter Monica Dorin.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 26, 2013, 11:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Thomas Becket Church for Mass at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, NY. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
