CHESHIRE- Inger Marie Lubbert, 87, went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the widow of John Milton Lubbert who predeceased her in 2009.
Mrs. Lubbert was born July 6, 1932 in Fur, Denmark daughter of the late Marinus and Anna (Sorensen) Andersen.
She is survived by her two children Marian Lubbert of Abingdon, MD, and Eric and his wife Anna-Liisa Lubbert of Guilford; two brothers Poul and Anders Andersen both of Denmark; and three grandchildren Peter, Carolyn, and Rebecca. Inger was predeceased by her son Hans Lubbert on May 5th of this year, and eight siblings.
Calling hours for Mrs. Lubbert will be held 4 to 6 P.M, Monday, August 12, 2019 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Inger’s memorial service will be held, 11 A.M, Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Elim Park Baptist Home, 150 Cook Hill Road, Cheshire 06410. Her graveside service will be held 11 A.M, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Fort Hill Memorial Park, 5196 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24502. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support the orphan ministry headed by Miriam and Peter Fretheim in Nigeria. Inger’s granddaughter Rebecca spent a gap year ministering there.
