WATERBURY-Infant; Hunter Richard Fiske, one week old, son of Maria A. Kohl and Richard S. Fiske of Waterbury, passed away Friday Dec. 11, 2015 at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. Hunter fought a brief, but fierce battle before passing away while being held in the loving arms of his parents. Hunter was born in New Haven on Dec. 3, 2015.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents, are his Grandparents, Anna Kohl of Waterbury, Herman Kohl Jr. of Naugatuck and Richard and Margaret Fiske of Prospect; Great-Grandparents Elietta Picanso, of Naugatuck, the late Roland Ruby of Milford and Hermann and Elisabeth Kohl of Naugatuck; his Aunts; Amanda Kohl, Alicia Kohl, Catherine (John) Ruszkowski and Patricia (Kevin) Williamson, as well as a large and loving extended family.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Yale-New Haven Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the loving and professional care they provided to Hunter and his family.

Hunter’s funeral procession will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and will depart from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. and proceed to St. Francis of Assisi Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross St., Naugatuck. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the procession leaves for church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Yale-New Haven Hospital NICU, 20 York Street New Haven, CT 06510-3220 or The March of Dimes 500 Winding Brook Drive, Suite 8, Glastonbury, CT 06033-4399.
