James Hutterly

Cheshire-James A. Hutterly, 78, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Hutterly was born on March 2, 1935 in New York City , son of the late Andrew Onasis Hutterly and Bertha (Pinky) Pinkel Hutterly.
He is survived by his three children Lori, Kristen and Richard Hutterly and his grandson Jake. James was raised in Cheshire where he attended Cheshire Academy and Cheshire High School and played football. He received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from New Haven University and worked for Aetna Insurance in Accounting before becoming an independent distributor for Peppridge Farms. James enjoyed most of his retirement in Vero Beach , FL before moving back to Cheshire for his final years. James loved to read, listen to disco music and was an expert trivia player. He was also an avid golfer, and a loyal fan of the NY Yankees, and NY Giants. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd , Rte. 69, Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m.
