Naugatuck-Mr. Leo T. Hennessey, 63, of 132 Gorman St., died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Glendale Center after a brief illness.

Mr. Hennessey was born in Waterbury, April 27, 1946 a son of the late Edward G. and Arline (Brennan) Hennessey. He was a retired Postman with the Naugatuck Postal System. He was a member of the National Assoc. of Letter Carriers and the American Postal Workers Union. He was a long-time member of the Naugatuck Lodge of Elks # 967. He was a communicant of St. Francis Church.
Leo is survived by two sisters, Arline Best and her husband James and Randi Dibble and her husband Donald both of Naugatuck. Two brothers, Edward "Lou" Hennessey of Naugatuck and Neal D. Hennessey and his wife Barbara of Ocala, FL. Several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday April 21, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave to St. Francis Church for a Mass at 11 A.M. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-8 P.M. The Naugatuck Lodge of Elks will meet at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:45 P.M. for the Elks Service.
