SOUTHINGTON- Helen Quane passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Helen was the daughter of the late Edward and Nora (Brady) O’Donnell, and was a longtime Waterbury resident before moving to Cheshire in 1998. She was the devoted wife of 52 years to the late Timothy Quane.
Helen’s family was her entire life. She was a devout Catholic with a special devotion to our Blessed Mother.
She is the beloved mother of Patricia Powers and her husband Clinton of Southington; Maureen Moore and her husband William formerly of Cheshire; Christine Forsa and her husband Kevin of Southington; and her very special niece, Elizabeth Lynch, her husband Jeffrey, and their four sons of Watertown. She leaves 11 cherished grandchildren and 4 adored great-grandchildren.
Arrangements- Helen’s funeral procession will leave the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Avenue, Waterbury, CT 06710 on Saturday February 7th, 2015 at 9:45AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Saturday February 7th, 2015 from 8:30AM until the time her procession leaves for church.
