CHESHIRE - Harry C. Ardolino, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Mary Wade Home in New Haven. He was the husband of the late Kathryn (Camputaro) Ardolino.
Mr. Ardolino was born January 1, 1926, in New Haven the son of the late Antonio and the late Nicolina (Iannone) Ardolino. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the United States Navy. He was a former member of the Elks Club in Hamden, as well as the Knights of Columbus. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church in Cheshire where he served on the Parish Council for several years. He was a talented singer, singing with the Hamden Barber Shop Quartet. He was employed by Southern Connecticut State University as an Associate Professor and Master Teacher until his retirement in 1991.
He is survived by his daughter Lori A. Albino and her husband Thomas of Cheshire, his son Anthony Ardolino and his wife Sally of West Hartford, and his grandchildren Nicole, Lindsay and Matthew Albino and Michael and Eric Ardolino
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday March 15, 2013, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Thomas Becket Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 3 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
