CHESHIRE – Gregory S. Mostoller, 57, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury following a long illness. He was the husband of Theresa (Keating) Mostoller.
Greg was born May 25,1963, in Somerset, PA, son of Adam and Mary Jane (Miller) Mostoller. He was employed as International Marketing Director for Permatex, where he traveled globally and developing lifelong business relationships with his colleagues.
In addition to his wife and parents, Greg is survived by his children, daughters, Megan and Erin, and son Ryan Mostoller. He will also be missed by his brother, David and wife Jennifer (Winkleman), mother-in-law, Judy Keating, brother-in-law William Keating and wife Laura (Green), and his niece and nephews, Jakob, Troy, Spencer and Ainsley.
Greg grew up in Westfield, NY and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology where he majored in packaging science. He was a member of the Triangle Fraternity where he has had lifelong friends.
Greg was an avid sports fan, and could always be found cheering on the Boston Red Sox or UConn Huskies. He mostly enjoyed his children’s sporting events, and loved coaching CYB baseball teams. He could be found every weekend on a pool deck cheering on his kids at the pools. In recent years, he spent his weekends enjoying his children’s college sports games. He enjoyed his summers in the Outer Banks, and his time at his cottage in Madison. Greg was a humble and kind son, husband, father, and will be missed for his strength and constant devotion to his family.
Arrangements – A Celebration of Life for Greg will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, is in charge of arrangements.
