Raymond Greenwood

North Franklin-Raymond J. Greenwood, 74, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Mary (Natelle) Greenwood.

Mr. Greenwood was born on October 27, 1938 in St. John, ME a son of the late Alfred Greenwood and Violet (Plourde) Greenwood. He worked as a sub-contractor for Millstone Power Plant for many years before retiring. He was a US Army Veteran having served with the 82nd Airborne from 1956-1959.

Besides his loving wife Mary he is survived by his two daughters, Robin Marsh and her husband Richard of TN, Regina Dubin and her husband Richard of Lebanon, one son, Raymond Greenwood, Jr. and his wife Jackie of FL, four grandchildren, Richard and Robert Marsh, Ryan and Katie Greenwood. He will also be missed by his two foster children, Rubyn and Alreno.

He was predeceased by his brother Robert.

The family will receive friends at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 9-11 a.m. Burial with full military honors will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 669 Platt Rd, Watertown.
