Martin Gotlibowski

Naugatuck, CT Martin J. “Marty” Gotlibowski, 66, died peacefully on June 11, 2022 at his home.

Marty was born April 16, 1956 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Edward and Edith (Bronson) Gotlibowski. Marty lived most of his life in Naugatuck, where he attended local schools and graduated from Naugatuck High School. Marty attended Post College and was very active in Naugatuck politics, having served numerous terms as a bailiff and was also a former member of the Naugatuck Democratic Town Committee.

Marty is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Perugini (Lenny), Margaret “Maggy” (Shawn) O’Rourke and Shirley (Ronald) Cole; his brother, Michael “Mickey” Gotlibowski and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, Marty was predeceased by his sister, Amy Simmons and his brothers, Edward Gotlibowski and Francis Gotlibowski.

Marty’s family would like to sincerely thank everyone at Supported Living Group for the love and care that they gave to Marty.

Private Services were held and there were no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
