WALLINGFORD - Gloria Perrin, 89, passed away February 2, 2012 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the wife of the late Carlton P. Perrin who passed away in 2005.
Mrs. Perrin was born July 12, 1922 in East Hampton, the daughter of the late Martin J. and Mildred (Pitts) Flynn. She was a teacher for Womogo Regional High School in Litchfield for over 20 years. After retiring from Womogo she became an influential part of the young mother's program. She was an active member of Cheshire United Methodist Church serving in the church choir and bible study. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Perrin is survived by her daughters Carla G. Perrin of Waterbury, Jennifer M. Perrin of Ormond by the Sea, FL and a son Jeremy Perrin of North Haven; her sister Sally Smith of Wallingford; her brother Edgar Flynn of Meriden; and her grandchildren Kristan M. Reagan, James C. Reagan and Emily Perrin.
Arrangements - A Memorial service will be held on Saturday February 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Cheshire United Methodist Church, 205 Academy Road, Cheshire. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Connecticut State Veteran's Cemetery in Middletown. Calling hours will be held on Friday February 10, 2012 from 5pm to 7pm at the Alderson Funeral Homes of Cheshire, 615 S.
