CHESHIRE - Gloria L. Scieller, 96, wife of the late John F. Scieller, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020.

She was born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Louis and Lena (Consiglio) Brandolini. She lived most of her life in Waterbury where she worked in the family owned Brandolini’s Cosmopolitan Store on Bishop Street for many years and Lerner’s clothing shop. A lifelong and very active member of the First Baptist Church of Waterbury, now the First Baptist Church of Plymouth, CT, she sang in the choir, played in the bell choir, and taught Sunday school.

She is survived by two children Linda Cruff and her husband, Carl, of Manchester, John L. Sieller and his wife Marie, of Watertown; five grandchildren, Jessica Hines, Melanie Cruff, Nicole Warnek, Matthew Cruff, Ian Sieller; and five great-grandchildren, Mia, Brooke and Jayden Hines, Carver and Sage Warnek.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Elim Park Health Care Center for all of their compassionate care and comfort while Gloria was a resident there.

Gloria will be celebrated and remembered by her family and friends as a model of patience and caring, and having an unlimited supply of unconditional love. She always looked for and found “the good” in everyone, and she reveled in family gatherings involving her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arrangements -Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gloria’s memory to Elim Park Baptist Home, Resident Benevolent Fund, 140 Cook Hill Road, Cheshire, CT 06410.
