Glenn Bothroyd

COVENTRY - Glenn "Chuck" Bothroyd Jr., 60, passed away Monday October 21, 2013 at Masonicare of Wallingford. He was the husband of Vicki (Kennedy) Bothroyd.

Glenn was born January 7, 1953 in Waterbury, the son of Marilyn (Patterson) Bothroyd and the late Glenn C. Bothroyd Sr. He attended Cheshire schools graduating from Cheshire High School in 1971. Glenn's greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and being their #1 fan at their sporting events.

Besides his wife and mother Glenn is survived by his step-mother Jeanette Bothroyd of Cheshire; his daughters Amanda Albert and her husband Craig of Andover, Ashley Bothroyd, Audra Miller and her husband Justin, Alicia Bothroyd and her husband Larry Huff all of Manchester; his brothers Thomas of Ashford and Matthew of Cheshire; his sisters Mary Kuhn and her husband Ron of Melbourne, FL, Martha Najjar and her husband Elias of East Haven, Deborah Searfoss of Wethersfield, Karen Hotham of Southington, Michelle Wordell and her husband Paul of East Haddam and Melissa Michalski and her husband Michael of Moodus; his grandchildren Caleb, Rondell, Zoe, Gage, Laycia and Rory.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday October 25, 2013 at 6.p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. until the start of the service at 6p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Relay for Life East Haddam c/o American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
