Gladys M. Troske

WALLINGFORD- Gladys M. Troske, 95, formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick W. Troske who passed away in 2006.

She was born October 5, 1919 in Waterbury daughter of the late George T. and Frances A. (Whiteman) Partiss.

Gladys was a member of Mill Plain Union Church where she was a member of the Women’s Guild, Choir for fifty years, and was always involved in Volunteer work at the church. She was also a member of the Goodwill Chapter OES.

She is survived by two sons Lee F. and his wife Theresa Troske of Meadville, PA, and Kirk A. and his wife Barbara Troske of Cheshire; two daughters Marilyn and her husband Richard Normand of Greer, SC, and Sandra J. and her husband Dale Taylor of Millville, NJ; a brother Robert A. Partiss of Hemet CA a sister Lillian Schilling of Wolcott; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Arrangements- A Memorial Service for Mrs. Troske will be held 11 A.M Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Mill Plain Union Church, 242 Southmayd Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family, and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710, is assisting with the arrangements. Donations in Glady’s name may be made to the Mill Plain Union Church Memorial Endowment Fund, 242 Southmayd Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705.
