Gerald Sargentelli

Naugatuck - Gerald Sargentelli, 90, formerly of Beacon Falls and Bridgeport, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Newtown Rehab. and Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Mary (DeMaria) Sargentelli who passed away in 2018.

Mr. Sargentelli was born March 6, 1932, in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Michael and Linnie (Sunderland) Sargentelli. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  He was a Machinist at Wyman-Gordon in Worcester.

He is survived by his daughters Sandra Merry and her husband Bob of Ansonia and Susan Mierzejewski of Stratford; his brother Albert Sargentelli; his sister Joyce Beeso; his grandchildren Stephen Angelucci, Brian Angelucci, Joseph Angelucci, Kevin Angelucci, Kristin Merry, Adrienne Merry, Christopher Mierzejewski, Jason Mierzejewski; his great grandchildren J-Xavier Thompson, Emily Parrot, Damon Mierzejewski, Briana Mierzejewski and Robert Hamel. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son-in-law Patsy Mierzejewski.
