NAUGATUCK- Gerald F. Dwyer, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday June 9, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Sibby) Dwyer.
He was born September 5, 1934 in New Haven son of the late Francis and Bertha (Sherson) Dwyer.
Gerald was an Engineer at Geometric Tool prior to his retirement. He was an avid Fisherman, loved Boating, and rooting for the New York Yankees.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by four sons Gennaro and his wife Laurie Velleca of Waterbury, Frank and his wife Sally Dwyer of Durham, Edward and his wife Elizabeth Dwyer of Oklahoma, and Daniel and his wife Diane Dwyer of Naugatuck; and five grandchildren Jeffrey, Stephanie, Christina, Steven, and Annie.
Arrangements- A Private Service for Gerald will be held at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St, 06770. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family, and there are no calling hours.
