Gary White

CHESHIRE; Mr. Gary T. White, 53 of Cheshire, passed away Sunday September 11, 2011 at his home.

Gary was born July 19, 1958 in Waterbury, a son of the late Clifford L. and Helen (Spencer) White, Sr. and was a lifelong Cheshire resident. He was a graduate of Humiston School, Dodd Junior High School as well as Cheshire High School and was employed as a glass cutter at Floral Glass in Cheshire for many years. Gary was presently working at the Citgo (BP) gas station in Cheshire. He attended the Cheshire United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing golf.

He leaves his brother Clifford L. White, Jr. of South Carolina, his sisters, Elizabeth Coleman of Cheshire and Nancy Baylies and her husband Charlie of New Hampshire. He also leaves his best friend Reed Davis of Cheshire. He was predeceased by his brother Robert White.

A memorial service for Gary will be celebrated on Saturday September 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Cheshire United Methodist Church 205 Academy Road. Burial will be at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheshire United Methodist Church or to Gaylord Hospital 50 Gaylord Farm Road Wallingford, CT 06492. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire has care of arrangements.
