Mary Gamache

Naugatuck - Mrs. Mary P. (Paquette) Gamache, age 73 , of 242 Jones Rd, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife for 32 years of Edward J. Gamache.

Mrs. Gamache was born on in Whitefield, NH on November 19,1936 a daughter of the late Amie and Eva (Sisco) Paquette. She was retired from the Naugatuck VNA where she worked as an office manager for 25 years and also formerly worked at the Uniroyal Inc. Footwear Division in Naugatuck. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and UCONN fan and enjoyed reading, traveling and country music.

Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Marcia LaGrave and her husband Wayne of Naugatuck and Karen Papke of Lehigh Acres, FL, one brother, Ronald Paquette of Woodbury, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one son, William F. Shea, Jr. and one brother Paul Paquette.


Private graveside funeral services and burial will be held in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 82 Fairview Ave. Naugatuck on Sunday October 17, 2010 from 5-8 p.m.
