PHOENIX – Charlotte (O’Connor) Gallucci, the wife of Donald Gallucci, died April 15, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was born in Naugatuck, CT, daughter of Peter J. and Mary (Quinlan) O’Connor. Mrs. Gallucci lived in Naugatuck until 1994, when she and her husband, Donald, moved to Phoenix.

Mrs. Gallucci graduated from St. Francis School and Naugatuck High School and New Haven State Teachers College, now Southern Connecticut State University. She taught in the Naugatuck School System at Salem and Western schools, and in the Chapter 1 Reading Program, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include her husband Donald, of Phoenix; son Joseph, of Phoenix; daughters Mary Gallucci (Jerry Phillips) of Willimantic, CT, Meg (Michael Rotondi) of New York City and Carole of Phoenix; three grandchildren, Justine, Ellis and Pascal (Phillips-Gallucci) of Willimantic, CT and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gallucci was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Ave., Phoenix. Graveside services will be held at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck, CT, on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, will be handling the Connecticut arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Arizona arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, Phoenix, AZ.
