Gail R. Ignatowski

Cheshire – Gail R. Ignatowski, 75, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Hartford Hospital, after a long illness.

Gail was born February 2, 1941 in Springfield, Mass., the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Tidd) Rowan. She was a retired customer service representative for Interim Healthcare of North Haven. Gail was a long time member of The Order of the Eastern Star, and was a lover of cats, especially “Milo”. She was a long time member of St. Peter's Church of Cheshire. Gail was devoted to her family – always very active and outgoing.

Gail is survived by her sons, John Ignatowski, and his wife, Stephanie, of Cheshire, James Ignatowski, and his wife, Ruth, of Virginia, and Daniel D’Onofrio, and his wife, Kelly. She will also be missed by her eight grandchildren, Jayden, Ashley, Aubrey, Rachel, Amber, Kaitlyn, Alexandra, and Samantha.

Arrangements – A memorial service for Mrs. Ignatowski will be held on Monday June 20, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m., Monday morning until the start of the service. Members of The Order of the Eastern Star will assemble for a service at 11:00.
