Waterbury- Frederick D. Schneider, 75, passed away on Friday April 9, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Frederick was born on December 22, 1934 in Waterbury and was the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Calkins) Schneider. He was a graduate of Crosby High School. He worked for the City of Waterbury as a Supervisor for the Water Department for many years until his retirement. He had served in the Army National Guard. Frederick was also a member of the choir for the First Congregational Church in Waterbury.
He is survived by his brother; Richard G. Johnson and his wife Joan of Prospect; his nieces; Jo-Ann Ford and Maureen McCullough both of Waterbury and his nephews; Charles and David Johnson of Arizona. Frederick is predeceased by his brother's Gordon and Robert McCullough.
Arrangements- Funeral services for Frederick will be celebrated on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at the First Congregational Church 222 West Main St. Waterbury at 11:00 am. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Ave is in charge of arrangements.
