Frances Sadick

NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Frances Fay ( Mendyk) Sadick, 95, formerly of 53 Conrad St, Naugatuck, passed away Thursday Dec. 9, 2010 at the Shady Knoll Health Care Center in Seymour. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Sadick.

Mrs. Sadick was born in Derby, Feb. 9, 1915, a daughter of the late Martin and Justina (Bycek) Mendyk and had been a Naugatuck resident since 1977, moving here from Ansonia.

She leaves one son, Thomas Edward Sadick of Yorktown, VA and one daughter, Gloria Koler of Ceres, CA; one brother Andrew Mendyk and one sister, Florence Pederasnek both of Ansonia and 42 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Louis, Ignatius, Thomas and Frederick Mendyk and her sisters, Agnes Mendyk, Mary Griffin, and Victoria Puro.

Private funeral services will be held at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be in the Conn. State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. There are no calling hours.
