Florence Jarvis

CHESHIRE - Florence B. Jarvis, 89, passed away Thursday July 22, 2010 at the Skyview Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Jeff C. Jarvis.

Mrs. Jarvis was born October 4, 1920 in Bellows Falls, VT the daughter of the late John J. and Catherine M. (Takach) Bellrose. She was a longtime Cheshire resident who sold real estate in Cheshire and Wallingford. She worked for several companies including Hartmen and Hulteen in Cheshire, Beazley Realty in Wallingford as well as Mid-State Realty. After many years of hard work, she retired five years ago at the age of 84.

Mrs. Jarvis is survived by her son Alan Jarvis of Woodbridge; her daughters Christine Jarvis-Hay of South Meriden and Karen Kwesell and her husband Dennis of North Haven; six Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. They will miss her greatly. She was predeceased by her sisters Marianne Behrmann and Joanne Hixson.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Monday July 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main Street. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
